Level UP Your Calesthenics Skills at Wembley Fitness!

At Wembley Fitness we provide multiple calsthenics dip/pullup belts which we highly recommend using to progressively overload your pullups and dips. This will be the biggest difference for you to level up your calisthenics skills! We have multiple stations where you can safely attach extra weight and push past your bodyweight plateaus. Whether you are aiming to increase total reps, build maximum strength, or master advanced bodyweight movements like muscle-ups, weighted training accelerates your progress.

Why Weighted Calisthenics Works

  • Progressive Overload: Easily add micro-increments (1.25kg to 5kg+) to continue driving muscle growth without altering exercise form.

  • Core Stability: Dip and pull-up belts force your core and stabilizer muscles to work harder to maintain balance throughout the range of motion.

  • Joint and Tendon Conditioning: Controlled, weighted movements build joint integrity for heavy bodyweight skills.

How to Use the Belts at Wembley Fitness

  1. Locate a Belt: Grab one of our weight belts from the calisthenics zone.

  2. Load Your Weight: Thread the chain through a weight plate or kettlebell, securing the carabiner back onto the opposite side of the belt loop.

  3. Position Securely: Rest the belt low across your hips and lumbar spine for stability during movement.

  4. Choose Your Station: Head over to our pull-up bars, dip bars, or gymnastics rings setup to begin your set.

Stop by the desk or ask any of our trainers on the floor if you need help finding the right starting weight or setting up your belt for the first time!
